Personal Privacy
This policy explains how personal information is handled for the purpose of accessing the information and services on Invatron's web site. Individual contracts determine how private information is handled under other conditions.
Our Commitment
Invatron believes that respecting personal privacy is just good customer service. Any personal information collected is only used for the purposes stated. As proof of our commitment, Invatron has written this policy in advance of Canada's Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, which comes into effect in January 1 of 2004. Invatron regards personal information as any detail that identifies a specific individual. This does not include business names, addresses, e-mail addresses, contact numbers, or other information readily found in public directories or listings. We handle all information in accordance with Canada's Fair Information Principles.
Our Collection Practices
Invatron collects information to identify your right to access specialized information, exchange product related files, and plan future services. If you have a maintenance agreement, we collect user information to permit access to private sections of the web site. If you order or download a product, we collect registration information for licensing.
Participation in any activity offered on this site is completely optional. However some information is required as a condition of service. If you do not want to provide the information, you will not be able to participate in the activity. If you do provide the information, you could from time to time, receive notices of new product, special offer, support, or other benefits to registered users.
Your Right to Privacy
Invatron recognizes the importance of using the information we collect responsibly. We do not sell registration information to any third party. If you indicate at the time a registration form is completed, that you do not want to be informed of other products or services from Invatron, we will honor your request. If Invatron chooses to provide aggregate data to other parties for statistical analysis, it will not contain details that could identify particular individuals.
Your Protection
The personal information that you provide is considered user or registration information. Your user or registration data resides on a server, secured behind a firewall. Only Invatron personnel can access the server with the proper password and identification. Every time you access private information, we require you to log on to protect the privacy of any information shared. Normally, the only information visible is the information we have agreed to share.
Information Changes or Issues
You have the right to access and change your personal information or privacy preferences at any time. Access is provided through the password and customer identification you selected.
