Andronico's rolls out PLUM
Andronico's of the San Francisco Bay area is an 11 store chain of premium grocery markets. The stores feature a full line of grocery and specialty items from all around the world. They have tested PLUM Store and are poised to rollout live to their first store in January of 2003. Andronico's is currently hosted by a BASS system that will feed data to PLUM at the store level. The interface between these two systems has been customized to meet Andronico's requirements just like Gelson's and Whole Foods have done in the recent past.
Andronico's is a member of the Unified Western Grocrers wholesale group. Unified is a very large wholesaler that offers a suite of applications to their members. Several other members have successfully used Invatron's PLUM application to round out their current offering with scale management services.
