Whole Foods South converts to ePLUM
Whole Foods Southern Region (Atlanta) is a 10 store chain of premium grocery markets and is part of Whole Foods Market Inc., the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods, with 140 stores across the country. A current user of PLUM Store for Windows they wished to have the ability to centralize scale communications from their Head Office to minimize hardware requirements in the store and consolidate support for the business.
ePLUM, Invatron Systems Corp. thin-client Enterprise Scale Management System, provided just the solution Whole Foods needed. The conversion and training were completed over a two-day period where no downtime in scale communications were required. Whole Foods now has the capability to manage their store scale environment (some stores having up to 50 scales installed) centrally with the added benefits ePLUM provides over a traditional in store scale management solution.
