Clemens Goes Live with PLUM Store / May, 2004

Invatron is pleased to announce that Clemens Family Markets of Kulpsville Pennsylvania is currently rolling out PLUM Store to its chain of full service supermarkets. In conjunction with a chain wide implementation of all RF scales, the PLUM Store installations will be migrated to the ePLUM Scale manager in September 2004. PLUM Host will also be installed to provide complete support of all scale fields from a central site until a new solution for back office item management is selected and implemented.

Clemens chose ePLUM for its scale management control center that provides visibility to the entire scale network from one central server and pro-actively notifies users when scales are offline. Clemens will be taking advantage of new functionality like speed key support and the ability to send fonts and label formats as well as binary graphics. Clemens' store locations will be initially be fed with data from Invatron's PLUM Host item management application. Clemens staff will be using PLUM Host to manage scale-item details centrally, maintain data integrity and eliminate scale data errors.
