PW Markets goes live with ePLUM and PLUM Host / February, 2004
PW Markets of San Jose California has gone live with the ePLUM enterprise scale management system and PLUM Host central scale item management application from Invatron. ePLUM provides a central point of control that works with serial, ethernet and wireless scales to introduce new levels of automation, proactive help desk tools, and eliminate the need for store level software. PLUM Host provides central control of all scale data including price zones. Eventually PW Markets intends to import certain fields including price into PLUM Host from BASS CIX, their current item management application, thus ensuring 100% price integrity and eliminating any double entry.
