Superior Super Warehouse Rolls Out ePLUM and PLUM Host / June, 2004
Invatron is pleased to announce that Superior Super Warehouse of Santa Fe Springs, California is currently rolling out PLUM Host and ePLUM to its chain of grocery super centers.
ePLUM Scale Manager and PLUM Host are running on a central server at corporate headquarters that provides a direct view to each scale in the enterprise. ePLUM's sophisticated support tools offer proactive communication alerts to the help desk and have alleviated many issues related to the manual process for scale management that had been in place. PLUM Host is managing all scale item data centrally, to preserve data integrity and eliminate data errors in the scales. In addition Superior can now manage the transmission of label formats, fonts, and binary images such as logos and graphics to the scales.
Superior Super Warehouse is the largest privately held chain of super centers in California. It currently operates 18 locations with plans for 2 more openings in the next 12 months. The company has shown steady growth since its inception in 1981.
