Northgate selects PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager / January 2005
Invatron is pleased to announce that Northgate Markets of Anaheim, California has selected PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager to provide scale management to its chain of full service supermarkets. This fast growing, familly owned chain operates 15 locations in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
The Northgate store locations will be fed with data from Invatron's PLUM Host item management application. PLUM Host will be used to manage scale-item details centrally, maintain data integrity and eliminate data errors in the scales. ePLUM will run at the corporate level on a central server and manage all scale communications. Its Enterprise Scale Manager component provides retail staff with a set of help desk tools that make each scale visible to the whole enterprise. The scales are all TCP/IP capable providing state of the art communication speed as well as full feature support.
