Penn Traffic Company selects PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager / March 2005
Invatron is pleased to announce that Penn Traffic Company of Syracuse, New York has selected PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager to provide scale management to its chain of full service supermarkets. The significant ROI attributed to Scale Management, through items such as labour and item data integrity will provide added dollars on the bottom line while price integrity will increase customer satisfaction levels.
The Penn Traffic store locations will be fed with data from Invatron's PLUM Host item management application. All pricing, adds and deletes will originate in the legacy mainframe application and be passed to PLUM Host to manage scale-item fields centrally, maintain data integrity and eliminate data errors in the scales. ePLUM Scale Manager will run at the corporate level on a central server and manage all scale communications as well as provide a complete set of help desk tools to make each scale visibile to the enterprise.
