Ramey Price Cutter Supermarkets selects PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager / July 2005
Invatron is pleased to announce that Ramey Price Cutter Supermarkets of Springfield, Missouri has selected PLUM Host and ePLUM Scale Manager to provide scale management to its chain of full service supermarkets.
The Ramey Price Cutter's 32 store locations will be fed with data generated by Invatron's PLUM Host item management application. PLUM Host will be used to manage scale-item details centrally, maintain data integrity and eliminate data errors in the scales. ePLUM Scale Manager will run at the corporate level on a central server to manage all scale communications as well as provide staff with the help desk tools to monitor each scale in the enterprise. No changes to the existing scale network or current scale inventory were required. Should future expansion be needed, ePLUM provides Price Cutter with the added flexibility to introducing TCP/IP scales to the same network, creating a hybrid environemnt.
