Spartan Stores migrating to ePLUM Enterprise Scale Manager / April 2005
Invatron is pleased to announce that Spartan Stores of Grand Rapids, MI has selected ePLUM Scale Manager to provide scale management to its chain of full service supermarkets.
Spartan currently uses PLUM Store for Windows with a corporate feed from PLUM Host. They were attracted to ePLUM by the ability to centralize scale visibility and control across their enterprise. ePLUM's "mission control center" for scales provides pro-active e-mail alerts for offline scales and a full suite of help desk tools that Spartan can use to reduce store support visits. Removing all scale management and database software from the stores will reduce the workload on their IT group while ePLUM's advanced features add new capabilities to their operations and merchandising groups.
