Invatron announces support within PLUM applications for Toshiba TEC SL-5300 / August 2005
Invatron is pleased to announce support for the latest scale offering from Toshiba TEC in its PLUM product line.
The TEC SL-5300 Series Scale Printer has advanced technology and design. It provides retailers with all of the features, functions and flexibility necessary to meet the demands of today's ever-changing marketplace. A 10.4" color LCD touch-screen provides operators with a large, dynamic and easy to use interface that minimizes training times and allows for quicker transactions. The variable speed printer provides direct thermal printing at speeds up to 4-inches per second and accommodates print up to 80mm or 3.15 inches. The standard model comes with a 2,300 PLU capacity for full ingredient and nutrition record storage. The memory is expandable to allow up to 17,300 PLUs. A front-loading label cassette helps to save valuable counter space. The SL-5300 incorporates wired or wireless Ethernet communications for Scale to Scale or PC to Scale networking. Retailers can easily integrate the SL-5300 into existing store networks providing a seamless method of managing scale data files. It is the latest addition to the TEC Scale Printer family.
