Bashas selects Invatron Systems Corp. PeriScope DSS Fresh Item Management Solution / October 2006
TORONTO, CANADA (October 15, 2006) – Invatron Systems Corp., a leading provider of integrated retail enterprise software solutions, is pleased to announce that Bashas Supermarkets has selected Periscope DSS as an integral tool to be used in building their Fresh Item Management strategy.
PeriScope DSS is a web-enabled, thin-client application suite for complete management of all operational functions within the fresh food departments of the retail grocery store. Working in partnership with CapGemini, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing, Invatron Systems Corp. will be implementing their Periscope DSS Fresh Item Management application to assist Bashas in the management and control of their Fresh Departments shrink, markdown effectiveness, production forecasting and replenishment program.
