Cardenas Markets migrating to ePLUM Scale Manager / May 2006

TORONTO, CANADA (May 1st, 2006) – Invatron is pleased to announce that Cardenas Markets of Ontario, CA has selected ePLUM Scale Manager to provide scale management to its chain of full service supermarkets.

Currently using PLUM Store for Windows fed by PLUM Host to all corporate stores, the item data feed will now originate in the GSS application that currently is the back office application supporting the POS and other store systems. This allows Cardenas to ensure 100% data integrity and move away from any double entry. In addition Cardenas was attracted to ePLUM by the ability to have central vision and control of each scale in the enterprise. ePLUM's scale "mission control" which provides pro-active email alerts for data error reporting and scales offline has a full suite of help desk tools that willl allow Cardenas to reduce store support visits. The removal of all scale management software and databases from the stores will reduce workload on the IT group while the advanced functionality offers much to the operations and merchandising groups.
