Ingles Markets selects ePLUM 2.5 and PLUM Host from Invatron Systems Corp. / Oct 2008
TORONTO, CANADA (October 2008) – Invatron Systems Corp., a leading provider of integrated retail enterprise software solutions, is pleased to announce that Ingles Markets of Black Mountain, NC is implementing ePLUM Scale Manager 2.5 and PLUM Host to centrally manage their in-store weigh/label scale equipment.
ePLUM Scale Manager 2.5 is a multi-vendor, web-enabled solution that provides retailers with centralized control of in-store scales and printers. Accessible from any computer running a web browser, it allows support staff instantaneous access to any ethernet or serial scale device. ePLUM, a full-featured and easily implemented solution, is designed to eliminate data integrity issues, and meets legislated requirements such as support for trans fats, allergens, and country of origin labeling (COOL). Moving from a traditional thick client model, ePLUM provides pro-active, rather than re-active tools to the user.
PLUM Host, part of the PLUM Scale Management suite of applications, provides enterprise level control of fresh item merchandising and pricing information. It effectively maintains scale related information that is often not supported by existing item mangement apllications. Uniquely positioned to deliver a single source of database administration for rock solid data integrity and efficient management of fresh item data.
