Wegmans selects ePLUM Scale Manager 2.5 from Invatron Systems Corp. / April 2009

TORONTO, CANADA (April 2009) – Invatron Systems Corp., a leading provider of integrated retail enterprise software solutions, is pleased to announce that Wegmans of Rochester, NY is implementing ePLUM Scale Manager 2.5 replacing the existing PLUM Store Scale Management that was originally implemented in 1995 to centrally manage their in-store weigh/label scale equipment.

ePLUM Scale Manager 2.5 is a multi-vendor, web-enabled solution that provides retailers with centralized control of in-store scales and printers. Accessible from any computer running a web browser, it allows support staff instantaneous access to any ethernet or serial scale device. ePLUM, a full-featured and easily implemented solution, is designed to eliminate data integrity issues, and meets legislated requirements such as support for trans fats, allergens, and country of origin labeling (COOL). Moving from a traditional thick client model, ePLUM provides pro-active, rather than re-active tools to the user.
